Breakfast Oat Slice
Mornings can get hectic and sometimes you just need a grab and go breakfast. Skip the shakes and snacks that are full of nasties and try this super simple breakfast slice! It’s a delicious and nutrient-packed bite-sized breakfast or afternoon snack.
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 2 medium sized bananas mashed
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup quinoa flakes
- 1/3 cup chocolate chips or pieces (optional)
Preheat oven to 180°C. Mix together nut butter, mashed bananas and coconut oil until well combined. Add in oats and quinoa flakes then stir through evenly. If you would like add in some chocolate chips and mix together. Transfer to a lined baking dish and cook for 15-20 minutes or until golden on top. Slice into pieces and keep in the fridge for 3-4 days for a great breakfast on-the-go!
