This coconut bacon is a great smokey and sweet topping to add to your favourite salads, pasta or toast. Quick and easy to make – and you can store it in the pantry for up to a week.
- 2 tbsp tamari
- 1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 heaped tbsp smoked paprika
- 3 cups coconut flakes
Preheat oven to 160°C. Mix together all ingredients except coconut flakes in a bowl. Add in coconut flakes and coat evenly. Spread evenly on a lined baking tray and bake for 15 minutes or until golden. Cool and store in an airtight jar for up to a week. Serve on top of salads, pasta or with roasted vegetables.
